Learn to Swim - Intro to competitive swimming
This will be an introductory program to competitive swimming where the fundamentals of (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) will be taught as well as essential skills such as flip turns and underwaters.
These will be done in a way that emphasizes progressions and low volume in order to ensure that technique requirements are met.
The purpose of the program is to garner a love for the sport of swimming through fun and play!
Competitive swimming techniques:
For those looking to improve their competitive swimming techniques, whether it be for high school / club swimming or just eager to learn!
In 10 weeks we will be covering and teaching all the competitive strokes (fly, back, breast, free) and demonstrating drills that can be used to improve stroke technique and efficiency.
This program has a strong emphasis on speed and technique. While it is likely you will get a good workout in, these instructional sessions are meant to teach swimmers how they can identify their own areas of improvement and practice them on their own.
We will also be dedicating a good amount of time to learning and perfecting flip turns and underwaters.

How do I know which program to sign up for?
We will be conducting assessments on the first day of programming to ensure that swimmers are in the right lane and age group.
Both programs are taught very similarly, with the main goal being improvement of swimming techniques at a competitive level. The reason they are separate is to ensure that ages and skill levels do not affect the quality of learning.
